The case for change

Contingent labor is your least managed major expense

Most multi-site companies run temp labor with 10 to 25 staffing agencies, no common rates, and no single view of what it costs.

The old way

  • ×Agencies bill at different rates and invoice on their own schedules
  • ×HR and operations spend hours each week chasing paperwork and reconciling invoices
  • ×Nobody knows the actual markup on any bill rate
  • ×Finance has no reliable number for the budget
  • ×No way to tell which agency performs and which one does not

The SourceNow way

  • +Every requisition, worker, invoice, compliance document, and bill rate in one system, in real time
  • +Rate cards by role, location, and labor category with hard caps that block over-rate submissions
  • +Invoices generated from approved timesheets, not accepted from agencies, which removes rate creep and disputes
  • +Supplier scorecards on fill rate, time-to-fill, compliance accuracy, and invoice accuracy
  • +A single point of accountability for the whole program

Answers

The questions every buyer asks

How much does SourceNow cost?+

Nothing to you. SourceNow operates on a vendor-funded model. Our fee, typically 2 to 3%, is retained from staffing agency invoices. You pay no software license, no implementation fee, no integration fee, and no ongoing support fee. In most programs, clients see a net reduction in total contingent labor spend within the first year, even after the agency fee is factored in.

If the agencies pay for it, will they raise my rates?+

The fee comes out of the existing margin agencies earn on your bill rates. It does not get added on top. We typically renegotiate your bill rates downward as part of implementation, so the net effect is lower total spend even after the agency fee is accounted for. Agencies that push back on this model are almost always the ones that do not want visibility into what they are charging you.

Is there a minimum spend or volume requirement?+

No minimums. We work with companies running 50 concurrent workers and $10M in annual contingent spend up through $1B programs. The model scales in both directions.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No long-term contract is required. Most clients stay because the program delivers value, not because they are locked in.

How long does implementation take?+

Standard implementation is 8 to 12 weeks. For companies with active participation and limited initial integrations, we can accelerate to go-live in 4 to 8 weeks. We have done it in four weeks for straightforward programs.

Are integrations included or do they cost extra?+

All integrations are included at no additional cost. That covers design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance, including Workday, UKG, Paylocity, ADP, Bullhorn, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI, and Tableau. The only exception would be highly customized middleware that falls outside standard API development.
